My husband and I recently visited Freemason Abbey for my birthday. We have been coming to your restaurant for years. Each and every time the AMAZING food, warm atmosphere and exceptional service exceeds our expectations and remind us why Freemason Abbey is our favorite! We do highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a high quality dining experience no matter the time of day! I just wanted to compliment the entire staff from the kitchen to the server, anyone who had a hand in making our evening outstanding, we thank you!

Freemason Abbey's "Lunch in a Flash" (more specifically the Pernalli's Greens and Crock of She-Crab Soup) is my all time favorie! I live in Chicago now but I used to work for the parent company of the Virginian-Pilot back in the day. On nice days, me and the other ladies would walk and have lunch there. The Manager was always SO nice and cordial. I'll be visiting VA very soon and I can't wait to get my hands on a crock of that soup, salad and dinner rolls ! YUM!

I feel so special. Just got a call from the Abbey asking me how I liked my first time eating lunch there. I had salmon with crab meat, topped with hollandaise sauce, green beans almondine and garlic mashed potatoes. All for a very reasonable price. Service was great.
I would definitely recommend it to all my friends.

By far probably the best restaurant in Tidewater...always over the top food and great people as well. You guys rock!

The one restaurant I truly do miss from Virginia. One bad thing about being an Air Force Wife, you have to leave the best of the area behind. I eat here every time I get to make a trip home.
