Graduations

Freemason Abbey Restaurant is a popular dining destination before or after graduations from ODU, EVMS, Norfolk State, Regent University, as well as, graduations held at the Ted Constant Center. Our elegant yet casual atmosphere is ideal for family graduation celebrations. We accept reservations and are accustomed to serving groups ranging from 8 to 50. Our staff is eager to make your celebration a memorable occasion.

Group reservations are taken for lunch or dinner parties up to 75 people. For parties over 30 guests, it is required that your party order off one of our Group Menus. These menus are designed for value, as well as well-timed execution from our kitchen. The prices are per person and include the entrée, a soft beverage, tax and gratuity to make planning within a budget easy. Our dinner group menus also include a salad and dessert. We are sorry, but we do not allow any personal food or beverage items to be brought into the restaurant. This includes all celebration cakes. Special arrangements can be made ahead if you wish to bring your own cake, in which case a $2.00 per person cake fee will be charged.

If your guests are responsible for paying their own bill we are happy to provide separate checks. However, we ask for your patience because multiple payments take extra time at the end of the meal. We add an 18% gratuity to all parties of 8 people or more whether it is a party needing separate checks or whether it is all on one check.

Be advised that Freemason Abbey has very limited space for standing or mingling. We require groups to be seated in the dining room at their tables and receive service from their servers. Groups are not allowed to stand or linger in walk-ways.
